Children’s Wellbeing

Emotional support is not an accessory to relief. For a child, it often determines whether or not they recover.

Why this community

Children in Gaza have experienced sustained terror, displacement and bereavement. Emotional support is not an accessory to humanitarian relief — for a child, it is often the part that determines whether they recover.

What we do

Rather than running this as a separate program, we build it into everything else. When we distribute clothes or school supplies, or reopen a rehabilitated school, we bring the artists and performers we support to perform in the camps. Children receive what they need, and they also get an afternoon that feels like childhood.

What this makes possible

Aid that a child remembers as a good day.

Nothing we do happens without people who decide to help. If you can give, give. If you can’t, share the work.
